"Catholic Social Teaching (CST) is the official teaching of the Church on the social order, impacting on all dimensions of society, including the economic and the political. It is an essential part of the Catholic faith." Catholic Parliamentary Office
Catholic Social Teaching is about working for the good of everyone in our community - the common good.
At Corpus Christi, we aim to make Catholic Social Teaching part of daily school life for both pupils and staff. We promote its values through our weekly Gospel celebration liturgies, our curriculum, and by following the Church’s seasons throughout the year. This includes building our faith and putting it into action.
Our pupils and staff understand the importance of helping others; within our parish, our local community, across Great Britain, and around the world - by following the teachings of Jesus Christ.
In school we use CAFOD mascots to support our teaching of Catholic Social Teaching.
